As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting public health and protecting vulnerable communities, the Humanity for All Organization<\/strong> team continues to execute intensive field visits and awareness campaigns to curb the spread of Leishmaniasis<\/strong> (locally known as the “Aleppo boil”) across Aleppo city and its rural areas. This response comes amid challenging environmental and health conditions, aiming to elevate preventive awareness among local residents and empower them to protect their families.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Awareness: The First Line of Defense<\/strong> Leishmaniasis is a parasitic skin disease transmitted through the bite of an infected sandfly. Rural Aleppo faces continuous challenges due to environmental factors that encourage the proliferation of this insect. Consequently, the organization\u2019s team emphasizes that awareness is the most powerful weapon against the disease. Early detection and adherence to preventive measures play a crucial role in significantly reducing infection rates and preventing existing cases from worsening.<\/p>\n<\/div>
