A series of ophthalmic surgical activities were carried out across several Syrian governorates, including cataract (Cataract) and vitrectomy (Vitrectomy) procedures. These interventions were conducted in partnership between the Syrian German Medical Association (SGMA) and the organization Humanity for All (HFA).
The activities were led by Dr. Abdulmueen Omar and Dr. Malek Al-Sayed Omar, with the participation of local specialists and resident doctors. The initiative provided a valuable educational and practical opportunity for young physicians and improved access to essential eye care services for patients in need.
