Strengthening Syria’s Healthcare System: Training for a Nationwide Health Facility Assessment


With the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and with the aim of supporting and enhancing the healthcare sector in Syria, Humanity for All Organization (HFA), in coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Health, conducted training for medical staff as part of a comprehensive assessment of health facilities across all regions of the Syrian Arab Republic.


This project comes within the framework of evaluating the needs of the healthcare sector and developing a strategic plan for the Ministry based on this assessment, in order to improve health services effectively.


As part of the project activities, 33 trainees from all Health Directorates in the Syrian governorates were trained to enable them to carry out the field survey efficiently and ensure the quality and accuracy of the collected data.
